Geez, talk about cold.
Cold nights cold mornings, cold dinner.
Bloody hell it has been cold.
It reminds me of the days on the Goldfields when I was an average B grade footballer.
Sunday morning frost kicker offerer on Boulder and Kalgoorlie ovals.
Used to get so cold up there that the water would freeze in the pipes.
Had to have a bucket of water taken over night so we could have a cuppa and be able to wash, and brush our teeth.
Yep true story.
I try not to remember just how cold it was during the night when one had to get up and go squirt.
Our dunny was waaaaay down the back yard.
Still it was better than having it stick onto a tree you were peeing against.
Back to the football.
You could hear the ice crunch under ...

Football time once again.Same as last week, I couldn't find a topic to use for a bit of fun.
But will try to keep it light hearted and have some fun.
Round 14, at last the byes have all finished, so all clubs are back in action.
Though some from last week, who had the bye the previous week, certainly weren't in action.
Some were still in holiday mode.
Some things never change though.
The Tiggers were their usual self, grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory... OH well.
Fancy being a Tigger member.
The MRP tossed up a few surprise results after the weekend fixtures.
Some special treatment handed out to some, but hey, do we ever expect anything else from the MRP?
Somethings never change.

Back again, though I feel, like the Dockers, I should be on a bye, such has my tipping form been of late.
Like the young couple who were looking to get married, easier to pick a ring than pick a winner.
Has been a big week for us here as a lot of you know, but still have to have a crack.
So here goes.
Short and maybe sweet tonight.
Toasters V Cats
A few out for both sides.
Hill out, is a plus for the Toasters.
Cats missing a couple as well But I think the Cats will be too strong.
North V Saints
How could you pick the Saints!!!
They are in as bad a shape as my mob.
Though I dislike the Roos, I feel they will win this one.
Tiggers V Swans
Tiggers off the bye this week, Swans showed great form last week.
Hard to ...

Well here we go again.
Last week I was stuck in trying to find a theme.
Finished up not a good one,you know, the Lord Mayor and the night cart.
Always try to keep it light, but am going a little heavy this week.
Heroes come from all walks of life.
We have soldiers, people who lead the fight for cancer, mental illness, emergency service worker, and many more.
We all have some one we look up to as being a hero.
Some see sportsmen as heroes.
I am not sure that they are true heroes.
Yep they give us pleasure on the weekend and when they play sport.
One sportsman I see as a hero, is a sportsman of the past.
His name is Neale Daniher.
A legend of the game, as a player and a coach.
But that is not he reason I look upon ...
