Flying home tonight on the big bird after three weeks on the Gold Coast. It has been great, but will be good to get home.
A couple of things worth mentioning re two different types of foot ball. One the real football, and the other soccer.
first off the Jeremy Cameron issue.Five weeks was a pretty fair penalty I reckon.I am sure he meant to hurt him, but not as badly as he did.very careless.
then there was the soccer. What is it now two weeks in and still moans about penalties , off side, the VAR.The Aussie brushed aside and out after last night.I said before this is a tainted competition and will never change. The big boys will always rule. The minnows will wallow with FIFA telling them keep coming to try.One day you will make it.There is ...

With the whole world watching, the world cup is falling down, well the players are.Fair dinkum what a sham.I was sitting out side the other day watching the grass grow and the wet paint dry.I tell ya what.... it was almost exciting.
The The World Crap, Woolies doing away with plastic bags.... gee whiz the world is abuzz with excitement.I bet the Greenies are more excited than the soccer fans .
AFL players falling down quicker than a French soccer player.... but with injury.
The world is abuzz for sure.
Yet another round of football beginning with Thursday night, beginning with the Toasters and the Bombers in Perth. And speaking of Perth and Optus stadium, just how impressive does the Matagarup bridge look WOW super impressive. It is a ...

Thursday night football again, not sure why the AFL persist with it.
A poor week for me last week, only three, so better get going to get back on top.
Loving the Grand parenting here on the GC. Enjoying being with son, daughter in law and the little fella.Missing the footy but family is far more important.
The round kicks off with Port and Doggies.Port at home two weeks running.Knocked off the former premiership favourites , Richmond last week, so are in good form. The Doggies coming off a much needed bye.The Doggies have lost their way and don'y look like finding it for some time.Could be a pounding for them this week.Power by 26 points
Friday nights main event is going to be a cracker I think.Sydney V Eagles.both sides are in ...

Greetings from the wet windy and sometimes sunny Gold Coast.Up here on baby sitting duties , which will be fun I am sure.
After a great weekend in Boulder/Kalgoorlie last weekend I have travelled almost as far as the Suns players over the week.
A week last week that only had one sort of upset was the Giants at last finding some form and thrashing the Crows.
So onto this weeks games, a round that see the Blues, Hawks, Toasters and Doggies have a break for a week.
The round kicks off with the Power and Tigers in Adelaide. This one should be a cracker of a game.Power, like the Crows are always hard to beat at AO, but Richmond are in pretty good form, but will improve as the season rolls on.I am not sure the Power will have just that, enough...

After last week and tipping with my gut feeling all I got was a giant guts ache.So this week off with the cabbage and back on with the head.
A couple of what could be called surprising results.Melbourne smashing the Crows. The Dees are beginning to look like the real deal.
An exciting weekend ahead of me this coming weekend, A trip back to the old stamping grounds,Boulder /Kalgoorlie,sorry can't really write it the other way around.Going back for the Mines Rovers FC (Diorites) 120 year celebration.I was there for the 100 year celebration and had a great time.I can see no reason why I wouldn't have a great time for this one.
Back to the footy and tipping.
Friday night puts the Swans and Carlton at loggerheads.Sydney are chasing ...
