Phew, I hope everyone survived the battering we copped yesterday.It was windier than a baked beans factory,and Rained like someone up there left the tap on and the bath over flowed.So those of you not in the know, yesterday was winter.
A huge weekend of football last week.A couple of really good games, and a real boil over with the Suns knocking off the Swans in no uncertain way.That one was much bigger than the Hawks getting downed by the Lions.
It seemed that Melbourne might have got a bit ahead of themselves at Alphabet park last week.Can't give the Cats a sniff like that down there.Also the Neeshies are beginning to get players back and are flexing their muscles.I jumped off them earlier, but asked the band wagon to stop until I ...

Wow what a shake up it was last weekend .Some very odd results and real movements on the ladder, some up some down.
Maybe the most significant result was the Neeshies knocking off the Tiggers.Tigers at home Tiggers away!!!!
Port lost the chance to step up level on top of the ladder.
Brissie giving the Hawks a lesson in Hobart.
I just wonder will there be more shifts this weekend.There are a few games that could go either way and once again shake the tree.
Maybe the ladder will not be decided until the last round, as happened last year.
I guess the major issue this week, other than the results of the games, was the knee injury to Nic Naitanui. He has injured his right knee this time and will be out for at least another year.Very sad ...

What on earth is happening to sport!!!!we have the flip flops lets all drop soccer players.Then we get the bash and crash and high flying kicks and punch ups in Basket ball.Neither of these things are supposed to happen in these sports.Just like the winners from last weeks AFL weren't supposed to happen.I am on crutches after getting kicked about with my tips.Crippled me they did.A weekend for the underdogs. Made me a wee bit gun shy to do this this week.But have to keep trying.
Yet another Thursday night game this round.And another next week as well.Hate them as I have said before.
